Day 21: Honor

I feel like Connor has been honored in a lot of ways. One of my favorite ways was these t-shirts. I designed them for the Share Walk for Remembrance. A local t-shirt shop helped bring them to life. The front of the shirt has Connor's actual footprints on them! This was one of the tiniest members of "Connor's Crew".

When I first was designing the shirts, I figured maybe some family members would want one. I thought probably only people planning on going to the walk would be interested. I was so wrong.

I put out a message on Facebook, inviting anyone who would like one to put in an order. I was surprised, and humbled, when we ended up ordering over 50 shirts! How heart warming that so many people wanted to honor Connor.

I love to see the pictures of people going about their lives, and they happen to be wearing the shirt. I get so excited! This kiddo's mom posted pictures of the pumpkin farm. While I liked looking at the pictures, the one think I yelled out to Mike was "She's wearing her Connor shirt!"

Thank you to every single member of Connor's Crew, whether you own the shirt or not.

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month. I'm participating in the Capture Your Grief project. This project was set up by another blogger. It is a way to travel through grief, with others. I will not stress myself out if I don't get every single day. Some days may only be posted here, others only on Facebook, and some on both media outlets. Read more about it at this website.
